Get ready, because things are going to get much worse before they get better.
This week, legendary oilman T. Boone Pickens even said that global oil has peaked, and now we enter the downside of the bell curve.
The world has never faced a problem like this. Without massive mitigation more than a decade before the fact, the problem will be pervasive and will not be temporary. Previous energy transitions (wood to coal and coal to oil) were gradual and evolutionary; oil peaking will be abrupt and revolutionary.

Mr. Pickens' actions speak much louder than his words.
He is building the world's largest windfarm in West Texas.

Who is stupid enough to take part in the scam? A fill up for $30? People know that is not right, and you have to know that your car is on camera. Hopefully they go after the idiots taking advantage just as much as the ones who set it up!

Funny I remember filling up my 'lawn work' gas can for $1-2.
Now that is about my change from a $20!

I have seen an ad on the net claiming 'Accept Jesus and get a free Wii', so yes people are probably stupid enough...
