Sharon Amity is great UNTIL IT CROSSES INDEPENDENCE . Then you enter a mecca of foreign and alien cultures along with high crime.

South Sharon Amity is the more desirable of the two for sure.

What happens along North Sharon Amity has less to do with all the "foreign cultures" and more to do with what easy targets immigrants sometimes make because they don't use banks and carry too much cash, or just have it in their homes.

[quote=jaggers;17144192]I believe that in whole CMS has its share of poor preforming schools. 10-2010 01:00 PM
chuckles34 Jaggers - do you have kids in public school? Good luck with that.

No I do not have any kids in public schools or would I send them to any around Charlotte. But good thing I paid a fair price for my house and can afford to send my kids right down the road to Hickory Grove Christian school. No matter what public school you send your kids to, they are still going to be taught the liberal way and be sheltered from the truth of Bible that has been stripped from the public school systems. I would rather move out of Charlotte than send my kids to any cms school.

I would only go there if I had access to an EM-50. Other than that it's too dangerous. I don't even like when an airplane I'm in flies over that area. Hopefully no one from that area is monitoring this forum, 'cuz I'd hate to be hunted down by the mecca of foreign and alien cultures for my negative remarks.

My masseuse lives off N. Sharon Amity after Eastland Mall in a nice quiet residential neighborhood.

I think that just about sums it up.

I'm sorry, what WAS your point? Oh yeah, you don't mind living off of North Sharon Amity, but you won't send you kids to schools there once you have them.

Well, that about proves my point - it's not the most desirable area in the city, especially if you are buying a home and wanting to see some equity in your property down the line.
