I am so glad to see these thugs off the street. I wish they would do daily raids on all the thugs in this city . . . maybe then we would get the creeps off the streets.

Cussing aside, I'm sure this was in progress long before the new chief came to town. Besides, the indictments were in federal court not county or city court.

I'm taking a wait and see approach on the new chief. It would help CMPD's image to release details of their investigations but NC law says the don't have too.

CMPD has a new police chief, Rodney Monroe....recently he said a "bad" word....one of Carlin's 7 words I think it was. I think he was describing officer sentiment about the shooting of the state trooper on I-40 a few days ago.

They will probably b released on the streets due to not enough man power to process them. They mostly lived off South Blvd near Scalybark...Conway Ave. That street has gone down hill over the last couple of years.

Oh dear. I guess I didn't get that memo. I did not know anyone considered "****" a "bad" word. Everyone I know says things **** them off - all status of people - all ages - all races . . . Also, British slang - pissed means "drunk" - and since I was a child, I have heard people say so-and-so had made a "**** poor" attempt at completing a task . . . what is the big deal w/ that word? I guess I missed something. Dang. Pisses me off that I had no clue.

Does everyone here agree that this is a bad word? Or is it that everyone considers it a bad word - except Southerners and Brits, Hee Hee Hee.

I think these dudes are in the Federal pokey and that would be a totally different system than Meck's Catch and Release, Hug-a-Thug, Revolving Door policy. Methinks.
