Okay, I don't have a boat. I don't have a friend yet with a boat. I heard that is the best way to see July 4th fireworks in the LKN area is from a boat on the lake. Where does one go to see fireworks if you don't have access to a boat on the lake?
Are they not doing anything at Birkdale this year? Or Kensington Place?[/QUOTe[/i]
I don't know. I have never lived here in the summer before. I haven't heard about anything.
Hi
Just found this Davidson, NC - Official Website
Would seem that the Huntersville/Cornelius event has been cancelled?
Also-I assume the traffic for the event at Queens Landing will be dreadful? Is that correct?
I am new to the Huntersville area and would like to take the kids to hang out, have fun during the day and then to see fireworks. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

The YMCA in Mooresville on July 3rd beginning around 4:00pm.Lots of things for the grown-ups as well as kids and ending with fireworks around 9:30.Also things going on at the Whitewater Center on the 3rd and 4th and fireworks as well.
I would be very careful about boating to see the fireworks at LKN.
Lots of drunk people + boats + dark + inexperience = disaster
I used to live on Norman and boated to see the display one year. I'd never do it again, and that was in 1990...
