My neighbor found this (dead) bug in the yard....they're totally freaked out! Anyone know what it is?

Yep - a beetle. You will see them in brown and black here, LOL. Used to play w/ them as a kid. (my friends and I were easily amused, Hee Hee).

I think that is the one that real dumb if I am not mistaken, if you ever cross one that is really green dont smash it is a stink bug.

ROFL! Yeah, we used to pull that joke on one of the kids who didnt know better - dare him to smash the bug!! You can tell we didn't have XBoxes back then!!! Kids were outside . . . riding bikes, throwing water balloons, and finding "stink bugs." The world sure has changed!!!
