Denver is on the west side of Lake Norman in Lincoln county. Much more of a residential area than the eastern shore. One main highway runs north/south thru Denver, Hwy 16. Towards the north near the Catawba county line Hwy 16 intersects with Hwy 150, which can take you to Mooresville.

To the south Hwy 16 intersects with Hwy 73, which will take you west to Lincolnton or east to Huntersville.

Denver will now change rapidly this year, with a Walmart and Lowes shopping centers coming to the 16/73 intersection.

Lots of new neighborhoods being built, off the lake you can get a house, new for around 200-300k. Much more expensive for lake property.
