I have two cats and a pup. Pup is driving me crazy about wanting to go out and in, out and in etc.

But I don't allow my cats to go outside. I saw a door that allows only the animal wearing the collar key to open and close the door. There seems to be two types. Electromagnetic and Infrared.

Anyone have this? Any other ideas how to keep the cats in but allow dog freedom?

I have used this and works great and I had the pet door installed in the wall.
I painted both sides to match each side of house and put a planter in front of the inside to help camoflauge the door. Now when I have guests they think "Indigo" has special powers to walk thru walls lol.
The paint however chips easy and gets dirty easy from the constant in and out.
My only concern with the cats will they wait for the dog to go out and run with him as well.

Good luck and it cheaper to buy this kind of stuff online than pay full retail.

Do you know which one it was? I will probably get it online too.

My cat is slow and cautious, he won't jet with the dog. Hopefully!

I dont have cats or any other dog than "Indigo" (her picture is in my profile)
I didnt want other critters to get in the house even though "Indigo" would think she was in heaven. I dont use that collar anymore due to her guarding that door and just use the invisible fence collar now and left the door on the on posistion. (both require batteries one is like aaa batteries and the collar is a watch type battery.
