Hello Everyone,
I know my story sounds the same as everyone elses, but...... I am relocating to Charlotte 3 kids and a husband, my husband is a trucker and I work in banking. I am being laid off from my banking job, so thaught we would give Charlotte a try, we are moving from Rochester, NY which is high in crime and the job market is declining fast and the school system is not that great either. So what ever issues that Charlotte has I'm sure we can handle it. My question is ??? does anyone one know any websites or realtors that can assist in rental property, I am looking to rent a house 3-4 bedrooms 2 bathrooms in the price range of $850-900 per month or less, in a decent neighborhood (not the west side). any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Again.

That price range will be tough I'm afraid. Can you go up to at least $1000. a month?

TRLawing does have a large selection all over the city - just do be careful if you can't go over $900. a month - they won't all be in very desirable areas.

I'm currently renting a 3 BR, 2 1/2 bath house in a decent subdivision in the Steele Creek area. I used TR Lawling, and found the application process quite simple, and the office point of contact was,and has been, very responsive and accommodating. Rent is just under 1K / month.

The Steele Creek area is on the west side, and is sometimes given a bad rap, but it really depends more on your exact location, and the folks that rent and/or own in your particular area.

Middle school (Kennedy) is not rated too highly, but again, it's all subjective.

HS (Olympic) is broken down into smaller, targeted schools, and is rated well.

Our current lease runs thru Feb '09, and our new house should be built by late October '08.

If you're timeframe to move runs out to that time, shoot me a DM, as I may need to get out of the lease a few months early.
