According to our rain gauge we got 3.5" of rain yesterday. I've heard some thunder & seen some lightning out there. I just got through picking up the yard & I emptied the rain gauge.

The wind is knocking over wood in the yard. We're supposed to be going to Hooters for supper with a car club.

Okay, the thunder is out and strong. Just a little rain so far---lots of wind! I'm making dinner a bit early to avoid problems with electricity! Now we are just gonna sit it out. Very dark clouds---we'll see what it has to offer soon!

I just came back from Food Kitty and there was a downpour for about 15 minutes. I have my car-washing bucket on the back patio and it is now almost half-full of water from the last 3 storms. I wonder if by the end of the week, it will be full? Well, at least I don't have any water restictions and if it keeps up, maybe Monroe can sell water to the Saudis for cheaper gasoline!
