You can DM anything you want as long as you don't call them little girl names and talk about repealing the gun laws.

Depends on what your cut is.

C'mon I was only kidding-this OP is such a cheapskate he wouldn't give it to you anyway.
LOL and only trying to get his game face on for tonight's meeting.

Do yourself a favor call 3-4 agencies. Interview the agents and have a list of questions lined up for him/her. Once you have interviewed them decide on who you like best and feel more comfortable with.

As far as new construction a buyers agent will get about 2-2.5% if its a spec home could get 4% depending on the builder motives.

Please do not be afraid to ask any of the agents you talk to questions. Even if you feel they are "silly" questions. Heck if you want to you can DM me and I'll answer as many as I can and then you can go to the agents a little informed.

From your postings you seem to be in S.Charlotte which is really not my strong point so I would refer you out anyway (I hope i did not breach the TOS here but I truly would want to help this guy with no strings attached!)

You want an agent that can consult and teach otherwise you will be blind on your next transaction.... If your not sure or 100% confident do not sign anything until you know.

Very good choice with Allen Tate, when we bought this house we used them, and our agent was incredible...and being in business I had dealt with them before and I think there agents or least most of them are excellent..

good luck

You don't need to pay 6% in this market. I bought and sold in Charlotte 2 years ago and the agent gave me 2% off because I listed and bought with her. Keller Williams may have more freedom than Allen Tate.
