Default Brentwood Homes.....taking over Monteith Place (Beazer)

I had a neighbor stop me last night while I was walking the dog and ask if we had received a flyer from Brentwood Homes regarding our neighborhood. I had not, so I looked up their website. They have Monteith Place listed as one of their neighborhoods. It looks like we finally have a builder! From what I can see on the Charleston forum, they have a pretty good reputation. Has anyone heard anything else about them or Beazer in Charlotte?

I had a home built by Beazer in 2001 and have lived in it since then (in Naples, FL). I had no problems with the builder and the home has not had any problems the entire time we have lived in it.

We have a Beazer home.....no major complaints either. We were just worried about who was going to build across the street. Brentwood's website says the sales office will open in August. Looks like we lucked out and got a good builder for the neighborhood. What a relief.

It looks like someone finally bought out that farm that was in the middle of Monteith Park. Is that where the new builder is going in?

no..we are talking about Monteith Place not Park. PArk is on Stumptown, Place is on Old Statesville going towards the Aquatic Center.

Ah Ha. Learn something new everyday. I thought Park was a section of Place. How confusing is that?

Having a Monteith Park and a Monteith Place that are a good 2 miles away from each other. To the newcomer it would seem that they should be next to each other. Just the way I figure it.

I'm going to start up Monteith Boardwalk and then we can really get the ball rolling.

Default Brentwood Homes Charleston Area

Brentwood changed their name. They are now called Crescent Homes. Buyer beware. Check out this article ... Consumer Complaints about Brentwood Homes

I suspect that every home built by them in the Charleston area on a slab foundation has major problems.
