We're in Union County and there's no snow here. Just some ice. Schools are closed...the roads were pretty slick this morning. Up in NY, there had to be at least 6" of snow before they closed the schools!

We had about an inch and Wake county schools are closed along with some neighboring counties. All my north eastern neighbors can't believe they cancelled school and they are laughing at all of us out playing in this. My kids were/are thrilled! It has turned to icy rain. They are saying that Sundays storm is going to be much worse.

The Asheville area reported only trace amounts from the storm. Some minimal icing on secondary roads, but that's about it for this one.

Here in Concord, sleet/ice on everything but the roads. Icy drizzle after noon. That's about it. Schools were in.
