Default Thrift Stores?

I hope this thread hasn't already been posted, if so please reference the other thread and close this. I won't be offended!

Do you have a favorite thrift store? I discovered one that I liked alot in Matthews near the super walmart out there. I haven't been in there since last fall but I got some great down filled jacket for winter there. I had sticker price shock when I went into the stores to buy jackets for us all. (no winter in FL)

But luckily someone told me about this thrift store and I was able to get us each 2 or 3 jackets of varying warmth for the price of 2!

I had visited some others but they were so expensive! Habitat for Humanity was one of them. (near randolph)

How about you? Where is your favorite? I have to stock up on some school clothes for my daughter who has loves ALOT of clothes.

DOWNTWN: Junior League WEARhouse ...4th street

Started in 1936 as thrift store, the Junior League Wearhouse has grown to be the place to shop for consignments and overstocks as well. Each week the WearhHouse receives donations from its members as well as businesses in the Charlotte community. These great items are then sold to the public at a very reasonable cost — all with the purpose of helping the JLC to continue its legacy of providing for those in need in the Charlotte community.

I like Value Village on South Blvd. There is a Goodwill down the street as well.

Karosel Kids in Matthews is good for kids' stuff.

Also on 74 is Salvation Army, Once Upon A Child and then near the Walmart on Sardis is another Goodwill.

I find great name brand items at Good Will. I go to the one on Park Rd (behind Hwy 51).
