I believe Hickory Tavern is a good place, possibly on the North side.

From a rabid, die-hard Cardinal fan who's nearly been beaten up at Wrigley field for wearing the red, good luck in the playoffs!

A little playoff advice from an insane baseball fan:

Buy Tums.

Move all throw-able objects as far from the TV as possible.

Buy "healthier" junk food if you have a tenancy to munch during tense games. (For example, Microwave popcorn is better than Doritos...)

Do some vocal warm-ups before the game to prevent straining your vocal chords.

If you have children, pick new "cuss words." You'll be using them frequently.

Don't watch these games with members of the opposite sex that you one day hope to have a romantic relationship with. You're not going to be a pretty site for the next few weeks...

And when you win a game, the only people jumping around more than you should be winning team on the field!

Watched the Big Z throw a no-hitter last night in Milwaulkee against the 'Stro's. Wow. Cubbies are on a roll. Hope you find a fun spot in the Queen City to watch the playoff run this year. Would love to see them FINALLY do it.

So Hickory Tavern it is then. I haven't been in a while so I'm assuming they've got a nice setup to watch the game, yes?

Hope to see some people there on Oct. 1.

Which one? Harris Blvd. or Mallard Creek Church Road?
