Default Bus rider from Arboretum to Uptown, or Uptown to University area?

I'm about to move near the Arboretum, but my wife and I work in University, she at CIC-Wachovia. Is there anyone out there who rides from the Arboretum to Uptown, or Uptown to CIC or the University area? I'm wondering how long this trip might take us each day.

How long is the ride from Arboretum to Uptown? How about from Uptown to University? Thanks!

The Wachovia shuttle runs from 3 Wachovia every hour - on the halfs, I believe and returns on the hour. It takes about a half hour to get out to CIC. But the shuttle is not intended to be used for commuting to and from work. The 54X doesn't seem to have a good schedule for Uptown to CIC in the morning - I know there is another local bus that goes there but I've never ridden it. As far as the Arboretum to Uptown - don't know that one either. I ride the 40X from Mint Hill-Uptown and it takes about 35-40 minutes. Overall I find that if you calculate the time between stops on the CATS site you'll have a pretty good idea of how long it is going to take you.

Give this a shot. Usually pretty accurate.
