Default Greater Huntersville area

I have a job possibility in Huntersville, NC.

Big question is, what are the good/desireable schools in this area? We have 4 girls ages 10 and under, so we are willing to invest in good schools.

I have did my research and I'd like to hear form the others.

Many thanks!

I have heard good things about the new Bailey Road middle school, in particular.

Huntersville Elem. seems good too.

I have heard rumors of a new Bailey Road High in the works. That would hopefully be an improvement over North Meck. Our daughter is younger than your kids, so we aren't worrying too much about high school yet.

The new Bailey Road High school is supposed to open after they open up Bailey Road through to Davidson (within the next year). They also are opening up a new High School in the Mallard Creek area this will take 500 students out of N. Meck.

My son goes to the new Elementary School J.V. Washam and we are happy. Lots of interaction between parents and the school and they have an open door policy to come in and sit with you child.

I think you will be happy with selecting the Huntersville area. If you need any help please let me know and good luck!
