Issues with what is posted in the forum (King: gated, rated)

This is not a chat room please avoid posting about another member posting style or if you agree with the style of threads they do make.

Please avoid saying things like dm me , direct message me , sent you a pm etc it is off topic and kills a thread for example

Rick: Pm me if you want more info

(this does not help other members on this forum)

Jane: I sent you a dm

Rick: Thanks I sent you a dm back

Anyone else who reads that thread dont have anything to respond to.
All members who have it enabled will receive their dm's or emails.
Generally a pop up window will show and if they have pop up blocker on it will still show under their name in right corner how many unread messages this member has and they are not obligated to respond.

Stay on topic. Attempts to hi-jack threads by switching topics or going off topic will be deleted and infractions issued. This is not a chat room - when people hi-jack threads by posting messages that are of interest to only few people, the threads often stop being useful discussions of initial topics.
Be civil, no personal attacks, flaming, or insults. We may attack ideas (politely) but we do not attack the speaker of the idea. Be careful with your words, there is a point where being direct crosses a line into blunt, in-your-face hostility. Please, report bad posts instead of engaging in flame wars on the boards. Insulting another member or a moderator will not be tolerated anywhere on this website. This includes Direct Messages and Reputation Comments.

If you dont agree with a thread or post instead of attacking that member you have three options reply on the topic politely.
Back out of the thread
Place the member on ignore list
Use the report post button THIS IS YOUR BEST OPTION instead of engaging in flame wars or offering your opinion that is OFF TOPIC to the OP

ATTACKING ANOTHER MEMBER IS THAT PERSONAL ATTACK
This could earn you infractions and if you earn enough infractions you could be banned.

Regardless if a member is new , or long time member all are subjected to civil conversation on this forum. There has been increase number of Flaming going on in posts.
This is against the terms of service

Discuss or debate ideas and not the members

WE ARE HERE TO HELP EACH OTHER
