I am getting married next spring in the Lake Norman area and am hoping to get some good pictures somewhere with the lake in the background, somewhere with lots of flowers, or anywhere else in that area that would make for good pictures. Are there any suggestions?

hmmmm... wish i could help on this one. I will keep an eye on this thread as well, its a very good question and I am sure Sunnykayak will post up on here soon enough!

Not that I am looking to get married (already been there done that), but I would like to find some nice places to take the kids and get some family photos.

i had pictures made for christmas on Davidson's campus. It's not the lake.....but there were plenty of old buildings, brick sidewalks, etc......to serve as a backdrop. The blue wall at Ben & Jerry's served as a very surprising location and the pictures there were great!

We have people using the gazebo on our village green for pictures all the time in my subdivision.
