I have a luxury townhome in Baxter Village (Fort Mill, SC) that needs 2 more roommates. Anyone have suggestions on where to advertise to find 2 more tenants? I have tried craigslist and the Charlotte Observer with limited success. The local grocery stores no longer have places to put up little signs, and local ordinances don't allow signs. Any new suggestions!!???

Have you tried Lowes Foods or Food Lion (off Hwy160/Gold Hill Rd) in Fort Mill, SC as of yet? (While I haven't been in Food Lion lately they have had one in the past...and I know Lowes has one as I was just in there the other day) Also you might try the local Comporium news channel website (CN2) as they have a Free classified section.

You can try some websites like roommates.com, or some others, but, as a warning, anyone you meet off of those websites, be sure you get a background check on. I was royally screwed by someone that I found as a roommate when I lived in Columbus, OH. Had I had a background check done on him, I'd have never let him be my roommate.

Good luck w/ your search.

Roommates, roommate finder and roommate search service

They have always been helpful for me, but you have to pay for it IIRC.
