Default What if McCrory loses the Governor election?

If McCrory loses the Governor election do you think he will stay on as Mayor?

Who will run for Mayor if McCrory either wins the Governor's race or decides not to run again for Mayor?

If the mayoral slot comes open, I suspect we will see yet another campaign from Nick Mackey on the DEM side, LOL.

I just hope for Charlotte's sake, McCrory wins your gubanatorial election. Charlotte needs a lot of help from the state & maybe getting a Charlottean in office is what it will take. There's no reason for all the great highways in rural BFE eastern NC, when by far the state's largest city, and most powerful economic engine doesn't get anywhere near the hwy funding it needs.

I certainly agree with you. However, it is still gonna take some action from the General Assembly and unless something changes w/ who gets elected from the eastern part of the state . . . nothing much is gonna change. There needs to be some power shift in the state house b/f we will ever really get what is rightfully ours in this part of the state. Heck, we send our tax $$ to GovCo and then they get distributed throughout what has historically been tobacco land.

I am tired of Tobacky Politics, myself.

I'm surprised that Nick Mackey hasn't tried to ask Obama if he can be VP.

I think Obama will pick Gov Sibelius of Kansas as his running mate.

But we are straying off the topic here . . . back to Mayor. I really don't know of anyone off-hand who comes to mind in either party as a strong contender to run for Mayor.
