I was driving to the bank today and saw the sign going up on the old Carolina Wings place. Went online and menu looks tasty. They have wings, burgers, steaks, fajita's, chili, wraps, etc Can't wait to get something southwestern to eat!
yea, I just looked at the reviews online of about 6 of their restaurants and not one person gave them a good review. Disappointing as I was hoping for something diff. and good.
i went last night and was not impressed. its much more of a restaurant now than a bar. they built a wall to seperate the restaurant side from the bar side, so now they do have a smoking section. our food came out really fast. a little too fast if you ask me b/c i could tell my chicken breast was cooked ahead of time and sat under a warmer.
i miss Carolina Wings
I went there today for some wings at lunch and I thought they did a nice job with the place. The wings were good, it was clean, and it wasn't that expensive. I actually liked it and thought it was pretty good.
I've eaten the wings. They were pretty good....kind of a vinegary taste to the sauce. No, this is not the same as Buffalo Wild Wings chain. I asked.
Not nearly as good as the recently deceased Wise Guys, but I'd say the only viable option in Ballantyne for now.
FYI, tuesday @ Buffalo's is $.30 (or something like that) wing night. Also, to give you an idea of my wing preference, for what it's worth, I thought Carolina Wings was terrible for wings.
