My son and I volunteered for the closing weekend.

If I can only convince all the volunteers to come by here afterwards to do some landscaping and painting.

I actually got the email from them to go to the rally, but I couldn't make it. I wonder if they'll still keep me on the volunteer list??

sorry, was there this morning at the Carmel Baptist Church in Matthews, I'm in entertainment got some camera time and caught myself of channel news 9 at 5pm tonight for a minute, not bad,,it was really crowded, i don't know if there is more going on in the week, since i'm basically done until the ribbon cutting ceremony.

I was so excited when I saw they were coming here! I volunteered for an overnight Thursday-Friday, we'll see if they need me. I LOVE the show, they find the most worthy people to build for!

I'm so excited. I just got my email this morning. I'm working the noon-6 shift on 8/1! Only downside....parking is at Eastland Mall.....guess I'll take the old clunker that day :-). Can't wait!

We've been rejected ...Got my Thank You email from the builders last Thurs., Then I got my Thanks but No Thanks email from EMO. My son & I didn't get any shifts, but we got the blanket "Come watch us" on the closing weekend. Oh well.

So....who's going to be there????
