When ECU is at the top of the list considering all the major schools in NC, you have proven my point about NC and college football. With that said, I really like the ECU team. They play everyone they face competitively and your fan base is great. UNC could learn a thing or two from you guys

Gators = overhyped, over-rated, crybaby, whiners who think there "stuff" don't stink...
Think the universe revolves over a little cow town in north florida. Let espn keep hyping them up because as the saying goes, "the bigger they are, the harder they fall..." it'll just make their fall this year all the more sweet...
...one of my 2 favorite teams of course is whoever's playing the gators....
Go Hawaii!!!!

Envious much, Stem? Yes, in the last three years alone we have two national basketball championships, a national football championship, and a Heisman trophy. Ummmm.....not sure how those credentials are "overrated". If you're looking for an "overrated, overhyped" team hyped by a major network, feel free to check out South Bend, Ind.

Go Rutgers!!

I love SEC and ACC football. Even though I'm a Rutgers fan and root for the Big East teams, I really like the SEC and think it's the best conference in college football.

OVER-RATED.....as in 4 losses last year, with "superman" at quarterback...all the hype and hysteria....

and wow...2 basketball and 1 football...omg...that's sooo awesome....
..
take a look to the south of that little cowtown..nope...further....further...yep...that's right...that little itty bitty private university in miami...hmmn...25 year....FIVE football championships (actually 6..but we got screwed outta one severely....) and 4 baseball titles...14 consecutive 1st round nfl picks (record)....most nfl players from one university ...58 game home winning streak...(record)...haven't lost to the gators since i think '86.
look...there are over 130 division 1a football schools....only 1 is known as...."The U"...
call me when the gators get to half of our national championships....
thanks for playing....
Good night now!

I can't get away from arrogant gator fans. I left FL and they followed me to AZ. I left AZ and came to NC and they follow me here. They're so annoying. Just ignore them and go about your business. They don't bite if you don't pet them.

I like watching college football so I would never denigrate another team or conference to pump up my favorite conference or team. I'm a Seminole fan and ACC fan but I enjoy PAC 10 games (ASU), SEC, Big 11, Big 12, SEC, Big East, WAC, Conf USA.

Sorry, that most people seem to think that a Gator is FSU???? Better check the mascots again.
There are a lot Gators, Seminoles, Vols, Gamecocks, Tigers etc. here. But as I tell my clients, no one is from here anyway. It is difficult to find a true Charlottean.

WELCOME!!!

Renee

Stem, call me when Miami is relevant again. I guarantee you it won't be after week two this year. Then you can say "But we're better! You've only beaten us ONCE since 1986!" You sound like Big 10 fans, reminiscing about all the national championships in years past, when there are clearly none in the future.

For the record, I never would have responded in an "arrogant" fashion if Stem hadn't chosen to insult and turn this into a sports debate. I'm a college football fan in general as well as a UF alum - I just like watching good college football.
