My girlfriend's car was stolen last night... we got it back, but now need to replace the back window and one of the door's windows.

Any advice? Are some places better than others? I'm off Monroe, right around where it turns into 7th St, so some place closer is better obviously.

And should she go through her insurance or pay for it out of pocket or what?

Any thoughts, suggestions?

Depends on her coverage. If it was stolen, then she'll likely not be responsible and insurance will send someone out today. I really like Safelite-dependable, professional, and will come out to your home or business: Windshield Repair and Auto Glass Replacement - Safelite AutoGlass

You can contact the insurance company to see how she is covered. At most, her coverage would be a $250 deductible, but I doubt it will cost anything.

Sorry to hear this and good luck!

I second Safelite. She should be very happy with their service, in spite of the bad circumstances.

thanks for the advice -- apparently the insurance will indeed take care of it. just a hundred-dollar deductible. my girlfriend's dad is going to handle the details (thank you mr. girlfriend's dad!), so I'm not sure who he's going to use.
