Default Relo from Colorado

Hello,

I'm considering a move from Evergreen, CO to Cornelius or Huntersville, NC. Is there any appreciable difference in the two towns? I've read where newcomers have caused big build-up and the natives are not crazy about newcomers. Is either one better than the other in this regard? And are housing prices about the same?

Thanks,
mom2sjs

Hey Mom,

Most of us here in Charlotte aren't natives believe it or not but mostly transplants. I believe I have two friends that actually were born and raised here but other than that most of our residents come from all walks of life.

As for Cornelius and Huntersville... Cornelius is a smaller town but very nice and quiet where Huntersville is a little bit more grown up and has all the shopping and fun activities one might want in a community. That being said, Cornelius is so close to Huntersville, they are literally one exit away from eachother on Highway 77.

If it were me, I might live in quiet Cornelius and enjoy the ammenities of Huntersville but there are also some great communities in Huntersville as well.

I used to live in Birkdale (golf community) in Huntersville when I was younger with my parents and it was truly a great place to live.

All the best in your search!

Best Regards,
