Default Quick seating question Verizon Amphitheater

I've read several things saying to bring blankets/chairs to the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater however, our tickets do have seat section/row/numbers on them. Do we still need to bring chairs etc?

You only need to bring blankets and seats if you have Lawn tickets, and then your tickets would saw Lawn or General admission. If you have seats you are alright..

Mine say: Lawn 37, Row 183 and Seat 865.
So do I have a seat, or need a blanket?

While it may look a little contradictory, I believe your tickets are for the non-seated "lawn area" - the row and seat# listed on your ticket are just Admin's way of individualizing your tickets......so pack your blanket!

We made our 1st trip last night to Verizon to see Maroon 5 (loved them) and Counting Crowes (hated them). What we loved was the atmosphere of sitting outside on our lawn chairs, enjoying the weather. What we hated was all of the cigarette smoke and drinking that went on. Now I found out too late that there was a family section that did not allow both of these activities, we will sit there tonight for the Jonas Bros. I dont mind a beer or 2, in fact I paid $8 for one myself. But after 3 hours of drinking, and 30 minutes before the end of the show, we started to worry about all of these people that had to drive home. We left early to avoid the issue (as well as the pending rain), but I wonder how many people had designated drivers. In Florida, drinks are not sold after a certain time into the performance. I guess they dont do that here...
