I am sure that the Lake area is comparable to 90210 for SUVs and soccer moms on cell phones.

Try California, thet almost never use them here, they just move over. The mindset is if you signal, someone will move to block you.

It's pure laziness and selfishness. Using a signal is the easiest thing to do, requires no effort, and has such a huge "return on investment" in terms of letting everyone around you know what you would like to do.

Those that don't signal are the first ones that will hurredly pick up their cell phone while driving when it rings.

ROFL!!! I gotta tell ya - my DH has profound hearing loss in one ear and about 30% loss in the other ear . . . and he put off getting hearing aids waaaaaaaay longer than he should have.

So several years back, he broke down and got the hearing aids. While we were driving back home, the first time he turned on his left signal, he sucked in his breath and said - "OMG! Does the signal make a clicking noise?"

I SWEAR!!!!! I had thought all those years when I had to say - YOUR SIGNAL IS STILL ON - that he just wasn't paying attention. Heck, no - he could not hear it!!!!
