@Bandibadji: Thank you for the tip. BTW: How did you know I was looking for a Honda? Probably because everyone is right now, considering those gas prices. What ever happend to those huge SUV? I guess the US will look more and more like Europe with all Honda Fit and MiniCoopers on the road.

I will be very specific asking those commuting questions. But I reckon, that I will always have a reversed commute from Downtown (sorry Uptown, I just learned that) to the Ballantyne area. That will probably be a great advantage, if I want to live Down..sorry Uptown.

Unfortunately there are tons of SUVs around Lake Norman. Maybe after brain cancer kills all of those moms driving huge SUVs while talking on their mobile phones (as medical research is predicting), we will see less and less huge SUVs. I would like to see thousands of "smart cars" instead.

SSJ, believe it or not, there is a small Danish community here in Charlotte and an ever-increasing Scandanavian community as well. In the beginning of November, there will be a ScanFest at the Wachovia atrium in downtown Charlotte which will have displays of all of the Nordic countries with further information regarding the different communities. For example, last year, I found out about Sons of Norway, a community of Norwegians, which is part of my heritage. I have enjoyed learning about my heritage through them. This might be a way for you to meet people!
