Default neighborhood advice in charlotte

I have been looking for neighborhoods with Islamic presence in NC and found that Charlotte has a lot. but I would like to have your opinions regarding each neighborhoodd (if possible) in terms of safety, availability of public transportation to major employement areas (like downtown), and affordability. I know it will be hard for you to rate them all, but any help will be appreciated. please have a look at them below:

1) Masjid Al-Islam
2012 Commonwealth Avenue, Charlotte, NC 28205-5022

2) Masjid Al-Muminum
1720 Wilson Lee Blvd., Stateville, NC 28677-7136

3) Islamic Society of Gastonia
4020 Titman Road, Gastonia, NC 28056-9293

4) Islamic Society of Greater Charlotte
7025 The Plaza, Charlotte, NC 28215-0903

5) The Islamic Center of Charlotte
1700 Progress Lane, Charlotte, NC 28205-5710

6) Masjid al Muminun
1720 Wilson Lee Blvd., Statesville, NC 28677-7136

7) Masjid Ansaar Us Sunnah
1620 Pegram Street, Charlotte, NC 28205-2871

These aren't neighborhoods. These are all specific addresses of Islam groups.

I'm assuming you are wanting to live near one? I don't think you should assume that other members of these groups live close by.

The Commonweatlh Ave and Pegram st location are close to downtown. Therefore homes around that area are pricey or will need a lot of rehab (which still makes it pricey). Public transportation should be convenient because you are so close.

The Plaza location is in NE Charlotte near Reedy Creek Park. This is close to the University area, which has all the shopping, restaurants, etc. that you need. The commute to downtown from this area could cause you some grief. The cost of housing would be less in this area.

I can't comment on Gastonia, and Statesville is not exactly close to Charlotte.

I meant the neighborhoods in which these addresses are located. Living near them is necessary for me as I don't have a car and do five prayers daily in one of the mosques (as far as it is possible) . others may live away but they have cars.

Interestingly, the ones in Charlotte all appear to be within 5 miles of each other in east Charlotte. None of these locations is very desirable I'm afraid. I'd say Pegram would be the most dangerous and Commonwealth the least of the group you have listed. Good luck!
