Educator possibly moving to Charlotte area (schools, areas, counselor)

I have searched and read some previous threads on this but wanted to check if anyone had anything else to add - I am a school counselor interested in moving to the area and wanted any input that could be provided. By researching the schools, the school system I currently work for seems to offer more competitive programs for students but I am told many areas are on the up swing. What about work conditions? Thanks for any help!
