It's not quite that simple. Zip codes can run a long way north to south or east to west, sometimes going in and out of good and not so good areas. The only zip code I know of that is 100% good is 28226 in south Charlotte, but the real estate there is very pricey

I suggest you start by studying the schools and seeing which of the ones that interest you serve neighborhoods in your price range.

I WILL BE RENTING FOR NOW. I STARTED TRYING TO STUDY THE SCHOOLS TO FIND WHICH SCHOOLS I PREFERRED OVER OTHERS. IN MY SEARCH I FOUND THAT A FEW OF THE SCHOOLS HAPPEN TO BE IN NON DESIRABLE NEIGHBORHOODS OR IT COULD BE I'M NOT READING THE SCHOOL REPORTS PROPERLY. I WANTED TO VISIT PLACES IN THE GOOD ZIPCODES. I DON'T EXACTLY KNOW ONE FROM THE OTHER EXCEPT THAT POLICE REPORTS a lot OF CRIME IN 28208 WHICH HAPPEN TO BE WHERE MOST OF THE AVAILABILITY'S ARE. GO FIGURE.......TRYING TO STAY FAR FROM THOSE...........WANTING TO DO A PROCESS OF ELIMATNAION IN THE ZIPCODES SO THAT I CAN GET THE MOST OUT OF MY TIME IN CHARLOTTE VISITING PLACE I WOULD NEED STAY IN TO GET QUALITY LIVING.

thanks for sharing that map looks like Cornelius got screwed on city boundaries LOL

When people say one area is unsafe vs another they are referring to a vast amount of land by saying North charlotte vs south charlotte this helps clarify what parts of charlotte that i would consider unsafe

In my opinion places I would hate to have a car break down in are in zip codes

28206
28205
28215
28212
28214
28208
28273

But that's not accurate or very fair Sunny

28273 covers a very nice section of Steele Creek and 28214 is Paw Creek - there is nothing wrong with either of those areas, and in fact many nice houses are to be found there.

See, this demonstrates the problem with looking for "good" areas by zip code in Charlotte. It is like I said before, zip codes can run a long way north or south, east or west, going in and out of good AND bad areas.

I think you might want to re read my post and you will see that I stated it is my opinion and great there is nice section in that zip code but I still would not want my car to break down there because again it is my opinion.

Hey it accuate in the way I view the area and im not after being fair just voicing the way I see it.
