I usually use a website like Expedia, but this time I'm looking for a vacation destination with flight specials. So I don't exactly know where our destination is. I'll decide once I see what deals are out there for flights. I'm looking for a site that says "Ok you live in Charlotte, this is where you can go on special rates right now".

Does anyone know how I can find a list of popular destinations or flight schedules that are DISCOUNTED and fly out of Charlotte-Douglas? I've checked US Air e-saver and I don't care for the destinations right now; I'll keep checking it weekly though.

Have you tried Costco or BJ's or Sam's Club?

Typically those places usually have great vacation deals...

I'm no flight expert but maybe try Liberty Travel's website? But I think it would help to know WHEN and WHERE you are thinking of going.

Default flight deals out of Charlotte

You may also want to check flights going out of Raleigh's airport. Southwest flies out of RDU, but not charlotte. Southwest also doesn't charge the baggage handling fees that the other major airlines do.

Smile Travelocity Dream Maps

Sorry I don't have a link, but you can find it at travelocity.com

Dream Maps HelpWhat are Dream Maps?
If you have always wondered where you can go for $300 (or whatever price you choose), Dream Maps is for you! All you have to do is tell us how much you're willing to spend, and we'll show you several options for travel across the United States, Canada, and Europe.
How Do Dream Maps work?
After you have told us how much you want to spend, we will search for fares that are equal to or below that amount. When you click on a fare on the map, the link will go to our best fare finder shopping tool, where you may make a reservation.

Not sure how you feel about Apple vacations but I always found really great deals there. Not sure of your time frame either but their "last minute deals" are the best. Trip usually has to be taken within 4 weeks.
