Thanks Carolina Blue, I didn't know that they sold fish. I heard all the hoopla, but never made it because it was only chicken. I'm a fish lover all the way and now I must get there as soon as possible to sample the fish.

I cannot understand the hype and Price's Chicken Coop. I've been there twice and I thought it was just okay. I've had better fried chicken at a number of places as well as have friends and family that do a better job at cooking fried chicken. I defintely wouldn't say it's bad but when I finished eating, I didn't/couldn't rave about it. On a scale of ten, I thought it was about a seven. I guess people just have different opinions on what is good food.

I guess we do.. I enjoyed mine immensly. Where have you had better chicken in Charlotte, maybe we can check it out?

Also, I believe it is easier to take out then eat in, the place seemed to be consitantly packed. They have odd hours Tues - Sat 10-6. Also don't take debit, credit or checks, so have your cash handy.

I still need to get to this place because the only fried chicken I've ever had was KFC, once last year so I need the real deal. But I have heard that ordering is difficult at Price's and you have to know how to do it before you get there... any help??

Check out their website for ordering help and prior to going. Don't think I can post the link, but just google price's chicken coop and its the first one. We ordered 3 full birds and 1 White Bird with puppies.

Prices Chicken is the best! I never had such good fried chicken, until I moved down here and had theirs. Goodness, its been a while too, I'll have to pay a visit soon.
