I go to a real barber shop for my hair, but I used to bring my kid to the Sports Clips and Great Clips stores in Mooresville. Funny thing is he thought I brought him to those places because I didn't want to spend money on him at my barber! But he complained that he really disliked how they cut his hair at these places and I certainly thought they were too expensive for the job they do.

Now he either goes with me to my barber or he just has me cut his hair with the good old home clippers with the #2 attachment. Takes me about 10 - 15 minutes to cut his hair, trim the edges, and then detail, but he likes the way it comes out.

I'd recommend Shear Excellence on East Blvd. Haircuts are $36.00 and includes a beer, a wash, warm towel, neck shave, etc. It's a men's salon so all the stylists know how to cut men's hair, and they definitely do a better job than Sports Clips. I've been going there for about a year and always get a good cut there. Men's Haircuts Charlotte NC | Haircuts for Men | Shear Excellence Salon

Studio 212 uptown on Tryon. I can't recommend Yvonne strongly enough! I believe she does men's and women's hair, although I believe she specializes in men's as her other clients that I have seen have all been men. I have really curly hair that is especially difficult to cut and she does a great job. Very convenient to schedule as she accepts appointment requests by phone and text. Always on time, so I never have to wait. She's extremely under-priced ($20). I have paid more than double elsewhere for quality that wasn't as high. Hope that helps - this is one of the things I've always hated about being in a new city!

Barber, who have made haircuts for me don`t sutisfy me now, he is not stylish enought. Can anyone advice me a barber? I want stylish haircut, like http://machohairstyles.com/wp-conten..._5-500x500.jpg here which involves a side shave to separate the top section of the head and the beard which in most cases is long and well-kept
