I was in Lincolnton and stop to get gas which was $3.60 a gallon but was reading their promos for the car wash and if you get the Ultra Wash you will also get 15¢ off a gallon of gas.
I purchased the gas and per gallon was brought down to $3.45 .
It crazy back in 2002 I thought $1.41 was high for gas and now I look at $3.45 and think it a great deal.
I am unable to locate a store locater for them but do you have a
Petro Express in your neighborhood or are close to one or just happen to know where one is?
I would love to put all these locations in my GPS in case I need go go juice if I am in that area.
I love buying gas in South Carolina since they have cheaper taxes and lately I been buying gas at Murphy USA since I get 3¢ off a gallon there.
Trivia: Try to guess what I pushed on my keyboard to get that ¢ symbol
But doesn't the car wash cost like $7 or $8?...bringing the per gallon price right back to where it was? I guess on the bright side, it's like you get a free car wash!

This is true and if your car doesnt need washing it would not be much of a savings, but I drive a black car so it always needs a washing especially since I park under neath a Crape Myrtle tree.
Normally I would pay for gas and extra 7 bucks for the Ultra Wash so yes either save on gas or free car wash I am game.

Well there ya go! Don't let my analytical thought cloud rain on your parade! I've always had this discussion with myself at gas stations that do this. I do the math quickly and learn that it will actually save me a few dollars (since I have a 36 gallon tank)...but then I realize that my Ram 1500 won't fit in the car wash.
To make up a free $7 carwash, you would have to buy 47 gallons of fuel.
A tank in a yukon for example is around 26 gallons. And I think an F350's largest tank is only 40.
See how the petro express is still making their money?
But if you're going to wash your car anyways, this is a good deal. If you buy 23.5 Gal, you get a half off carwash. But if you're looking for a free wash then you'll need to fill up quite a lot on that visit

I propose drop tanks (never mind the reference at the bottom of that Wiki...it's for racing only!) for cars. The Navy, Marines, Air Force, Army, and Coast Guard use them...why not us?
I'll take 2,300 gallons on pump three please...oh, and 27 free car washes.
