We are looking to rent a home for a week this summer. I've contacted several places they seem nice, but since I've never been to the area I'm not sure which ones to go with. So I thought someone might be able to help me.
The one is by exit 33 from I 77 in mooresville. The other one is in Troutman.
We want to rent a boat for a few days, go to the Concord Mills, Nascar museum. We will have 8 kids under 12 and 4 adults. If anyone know's of a nice place for the buck let us know. We are looking to possibly one day reloate to the area so we want to check out the neighborhoods as well. If there is something we should check out before we leave as far as site seeing/visiting let me know as well Thanks!

You will have to wait until 2008 to go to the NASCAR Museum. They just broke ground last week for the building.

Oops - my mistake. Make that 2010 -

NASCAR Hall of Fame
Open spring 2010
Charlotte
Charlotte will soon be the home of the NASCAR Hall of Fame. The state-of-the-art facility will capture the spirit of the automobile racing sport, honor NASCAR icons, and create an enduring tribute to the industry’s drivers, crew members and team owners. Current plans for the Hall of Fame include extensive exhibit space, interactive entertainment, restaurants, retail outlets, and a world class media center. In a region rich with racing history, Charlotte is the hub of the NASCAR industry. Currently 82 percent of NASCAR NEXTEL Cup teams, 72 percent of NASCAR Busch Series teams, and 55 percent of NASCAR Craftsman Truck teams are based in the Charlotte region. The NASCAR Hall of Fame will be an economic boon for the region and the state, as well as a compelling experience for all NASCAR fans.
