I've had Sprint since 2000. No customer service issues, nothing but great service. We've got the unlimited everything plan.

Verizon. Had all of them and they are by far the best.

In this part of NC I would say that Verizon has the best coverage. Inside of Mecklenburg county I don't think it makes much difference who you go with as they are all pretty good these days, but once out of the county, you will probably get the best coverage with Verizon. The reason for this, is they, years ago when it was Bell Atlantic, purchased one of the two original analog carriers in this area and thus had already built an infrastructure when the others showed up a decade later.

For the record, while I have have used them in the past, I don't currently have Verizon service. My reasons have more to do with pricing over coverage.

I have had sprint since 2001 and never had any issues with them too.

until i think 2003 or 2004 they had some bad customer service problems and lost their reputation.. which created a bad perception in the consumers.. i think right now they are very good and are comparable to any other service. Every cellular service has black spots where there is no network, its possible that where sprint doesnt work verizon might, but its also true that many places where verizon, att or tmobile doesnt work sprint works. About customer service, I'd say Verizon is still strict and can be rude sometimes... ofcourse they dont need to work on their customer service issues so they try to be as harsh as possible. Sprint has the best rate plans, that beats every other provider, agree that they dont have an iphone, but their phone line up isnt bad at all, and also sometime this year other networks too (incl sprint and verizon) are getting iphones i hear.. and with all the employee discounts (23% for BoA) and other perks that sprint offers its just doesnt make sense to use another provider!

P.S: if you are thinking of either verizon or sprint, sprint roams on verizon when it cant find a signal.. so you get to use verizon service without paying the hefty price.. sprint offers roaming for free! when i go to DC and use the Metro where only verizon and no other network works, i can still use my phone, coz sprint roams on verizon for free!!

I have three people on my family plan with Sprint and pay $150 a month for unlimited everything ( cell to any cell, internet, texting, roaming) except to landlines and we share 1500 mins for that. They are also international, I went to Barbados and it was working. Usually when the say the caribbean the mean the Bahamas.
