Any feedback on options convenient to a Berewick resident for (1) lake front rec areas/parks, (2) public boat ramps and (3) slip rentals?

There are a number of parks. McDowell Park (just before the Buster Boyd Bridge - waterfront, but no swimming) and Ebeneezer Park (west side of Lake Wylie in Rock Hill i boat launch and swimming). The most accessible boat ramps for you would be Copperhead Island (off of Shopton Road) and the Buster Boyd ramp on the SC side of the Buster Boyd bridge. Slip rentals are at a premium and difficult to find.

I know someone who has one and I want to say they pay $2000 a year. Don't quote me on that though, it was awhile ago that we talked about it.

The hardest part will be to find a marina that has any space. I know the River Hills marina is booked full and preference is given to residents (When I kept my boat there it was about $2000 per year [that was 2 years ago]. I believe the Commodore Yacht club has space, My friend told me that people were leaving as the cost is about $4000 per year (this was heresay).

The best bet is to advertise on Craigs list and hope to find a private individual who will rent out their dock. My next door neighbor who has a dock, but no boat, has been renting their slip (uncovered) for $275 per month.
