Anyone make the move there? If so, any information would be great.

Hi, we are moving to Waxhaw,NC, the wesley oaks community built by centex. So far we are excited, and we think we "lucked out" or just had a great realtor. However we don't close/move in until end of summer- so right now it's still all "anticipation" emotions. We are moving from the Boston,MA- and quite frankly I think anywhere in NC is better than bean town right now

I think we "lucked" into Waxhaw as we just loved the house plan we chose from centex homes, but we heard good things about union county, and that area in general so it made the decision a bit easier.

Hi Miker-Welcome aboard With your new construction were you able to receive any incentives? We are also looking in the Weddington/Waxhaw area. Have our home up for sale now (So Cal).

Hi Miker, you actually will live down the road from me.

You will have access to the Harris Teeter grocery store- although it's quite pricey say from Stop n Shop. They are building a Lowe's Food grocery store across the street at the four corners. The CVS just opened too.
