DOES ANYONE KNOW WHY COFFEE CREEK CAFE NEAR THE AIRPORT HAS BEEN CLOSED FOR 3 WEEKS. THEY HAVE A NOTE POSTED ON THE WINDOW CLOSED DUE TO ILLNESS. HOW CAN THEIR EMPLOYEES PAY THEIR BILLS? I USED TO EAT THERE THREE TO FOUR TIMES A WEEK SHOULD I BE CONCERNED?

Well, I guess their employees got other jobs or are looking . . . and not sure why you should be concerned unless you can't find any place else to eat . . .

Are you thinking they may have been closed due to sanitation problems??? I mean - is that why you are concerned?

Nah. Well, it seems your "caps lock" key may be stuck. I'd be a little concerned about that.

The cafe reopened for a while, but sometime in July 2009 there was an incident. I don't know if it was a fire or an explosion, but all the windows were blown out and blackened. Lots of "Police Line - Do Not Cross" tape everywhere.

I can't find any information on what happened, so I'm being vague because I don't know any details.

I wouldn't go that far. I see activity at the place: a large bin outside, moving of the seats and tables outside. Looks to me like they're going to rebuild/remodel. I bet they're open again within six months!

Well, here it is the end of March 2010, and I am just beginning to see signs of work being done at the cafe. I don't know when they're going to re-open.

Sorry I haven't reported back here lately. The Coffee Creek Cafe is OPEN for business!! I'm guessing for the lunch crowd. I have not been since the reopening last year, but that happened in late Spring or early Summer of 2010. Then I got laid off. My best wishes for the business!
