I would not let the size of greenville fool you. it's a very large area. I live in wilmington, and they say we have around 100,000 in the city. greenville has 50,000, but feels 2-3 times bigger than wilmington, and the metro area I believe is over a million. I would check them both out. I know I was shocked when I visited greenville. I would think that charlotte would be better for jobs, but greenville would have the edge in cost of living, plus the mountains.

Thanks for all the church recommendations! Any specific evangelical non-charsimatic churches with a larger young professionals or post-college age gathering?

I work in Finance (Treasury, specifically), so if anyone hears of a Senior Analyst or Treasury Manager position, I would be grateful if you could pass along privately. I have been in touch with recruiters in the area, but nothing solid yet.

Thanks again!

Clint, Mosaic sounds like it would fit your bill. see the above post for the link. Great preaching, outstanding music and a huge crowd of young professionals.

However, I will tell you that, as a banker, times in Charlotte (the second largest banking center only behind NY) are a bit tough for new jobs in the industry. Layoffs are fairly rampant and it the whole financial environment is in an uproar. I am sure that you are aware of this and Charlotte is not any different; it has just taken a little longer to get here.

Hoage 58: No, that is not Mosaic with the billboards on 85, that is another, similar church called Kinetic. We actually have several varieties of the same type of Gen X church here.

Hope that this helps!!
