I am new to the area and have a 2005 Silverado. I'm looking for a good place to go for work and service. I'm not set on going to a Chevy dealer. But, I want a place that I can trust is not giving me a line and is reasonable with price. Any suggestions?
I am around North Lake Mall area, but the shop doesn't have to be around here. Just hopefully less than a 25mi drive.

Well a good frined of mine used to work at Parks Chevrolet but was let go as he was doing things in his garage after hours. He works at Toyota now. If you would like his number PM me. He lives near Cedarfield.
I have found that AAA has great service and also bodywork. Very efficient and when I had to get estimates, theirs was not the bottom, but always one of the lowest. I would check w/ AAA and see who they recommend. If you are not a member you might consider getting a membership. The towing charges (wh/ I had to use twice this year for my son) make it a great return on investment.
I know a great mechanic named Bobby Keeser, he owns Aces Automotive. A girl I work with referred me to him and he has been doing work on my cars for a few years now out of his home garage. I was thrilled when he told me he was opening up a shop of his own. I will NOT go to anyone else, even for an oil change. His quality of work is exceptional and his prices are unbeatable. I have referred many newcomers to Charlotte, to him and they have all been nothing less than extremely satisfied. He is located in Indian Trail about 8 minutes from 485. His number is 704-226-2938. We have just done oil changes and inspections for tags. I must say I was pleasantly surprised when I went a couple of weeks ago. They were very nice and very customer oriented.
