Hi guys,

TWC increased their prices for the Road Runner Service again.

Do you know another internet provider we could use?

Thanks.

I have been very pleased with BellSouth DSL since it's roll out.
My download is +/- 6mb, rarely if ever down.

try windstream, if its available in your area. i have it now but am going to earthlink this friday. i was paying 29 for 12mbps speed. they are increasing my rate to 49.
however if you go to windstreams site, they are offering any speed for 19/month (even the 12mbps)

Do you have to have phone service with Windstream to get their DSL? I have TWC for internet, but we have Vonage for phone, so I am worried it won't really save me $$ overall.

Oh, and with DSL can you have a network with more than one computer online at a time, or is it just for one computer?

Thanks,

Dawn

I use to hate dsl ten years ago but they have servers now out in rural areas which windstream seems to cater to that market. I would check on one of their bundles if you have a land line as well the info you are seeking is on that website

Yes you can have a network with Windstream.

We got them when we moved here and I could not be happier with them.

There were BY FAR the easiest set up of any company I have ever dealt with.

I hooked up the modem and was online in a few monites, it was absolutely incredible.

The service rarely goes down, and everytime it has, I rebooted my network and it came back on. So my guess is that it was my network, not Windstream.
