Can anyone recommend to me a good jeweler? I got some information from Guliani's in Blakeney about the type of ring my wife wants. I checked Blue Nile and it just seems to me I can get almost the same ring for a little less (same diamond grade - cut, clarity, etc.).

I know diamonds are expensive but I just want to make sure I don't get ripped off THAT much. I know the markup for diamonds is quite large and I wouldn't mind "negotiating" over the price. I just don't know what places do this around here.

Thanks

We had a really great experience with the Karat Patch on Providence Road. Very helpful and knowledgable staff and they are not pushy at all. We purchased an engagement ring and wedding bands there a few years ago. They even helped us with an insurance issue several months after original purchase of the engagement ring.
