Creative Loafing is having their CD Release Party tonight at Double Door at Lake Norman (off exit 28).
Seven bands and a free CD for $3. It's a great way to check out a variety of local music - Contagious Blues Band, Paleface, Tropic Culture, Lindy Dobbins, Nicolette Emanuelle, The Lights Fluorescent and Eyes of the Elders.
Considering that it was last night, I'm guessing this offer is off the table.
There were all genres - carribean, blues, hip-hop, rock, etc.
Yea, I was off a day. Oh well, I saved a dollar. I went by last night and saw that I had screwed up on my dates and decided to bar hop at other places. I'm not really into hip hop anyway, but I love my blues and rock.
