Thumbs up Moving from Detroit

My cousin and I will be visiting Charlotte in hopes of moving. My cousin is a 38 yr old elementary school teacher with a 15 yr old son. Which I am quite sure she could find employment pretty easy. I am a 31 yr old computer software analyst pursuing a degree. I am worried that I may not be able to find a decent job that will allow me to pay the bills and to live in a nice neighborhood.....Any advice?

Default Moving from Detroit

Hi Kisha,

Spend as much time in research prior to your move as possible. Check out employment on monster.com, charlottejobs.com, etc. Charlotte is home to Wachovia, Bank of America, Citicorp. Lots of opportunities there. Its a growing city and you probably won't have a problem. Send me a pm for more info on websites. I can help find rental info or info on buying. Good luck with the move.
