Single Parent Relocating to Mooresville? (Cornelius: employment, live in, babysitting)

I am 25 and a single parent of a 6 yr old son. My parents are planning a move from Staten Island NY to the Mooresville area and I am seriously considering going with them. My issue is employment as well as having some sort of social life...any information would certainly be appreciated!!

Ahhh...yet another NY'er . Pretty soon they are really going to have to rename this area there are so many of us. Mooresville is a wonderful town to raise a family but as far as a single social life you may want to consider more the Cornelius area (Birkdale or off exit 28) there is a little more night life and it is only about 15-20 min. away from Mooresville. You could always live in Mooresville and have your parents very close for babysitting and drive to go out. Anyway welcome to another fellow NY'er and good luck.
