I saw a couple more stations open when I went out to do errands a little while ago. The Texaco station across from Carolina Pavilion on South Boulevard has all grades available in the low - mid $4+ range.

Wow, what a thoughtful and intelligent post. You've truly opened my eyes. I'd never heard it put quite like that. I am now soooo thankful for the $5 gas.

They may be paying $13 a gallon in the UK, but they're paying $3.29 in NJ- and they have gas! SO, you tell me why people are freaking out about $4-5!

I wasn't complaining about the price, I was just stating a fact of what it was in GA. It does eat more of the profits from my business when I have more in fuel expenditures, especially when I have to travel from Atlanta to Wilmington today. My concern was having it available on the way.

Things seem to be leveling out as far as shortages go, so I think my trip will be alright.

With the way gas prices have fluctuated, I would think we would all wise up and fill out tanks when they reached half full, so there would never be a run like there was this past weekend.

I find this link quite usefull when it's time to fill up.

I haven't been to that one, but the one off of the Sutton Rd exit of 77 is the best one I've found. I work in Fort Mill, so I'm a bit lucky I don't have to fill in CLT.

Must have been. Rock Hill Chevron is 3.99 now on the list.

Exit 85 off of 77 has a gas station that's pretty low and there are 3 on the corner of 160 and Johnston Rd. (521) that are always competing with each other. There's also one on 51 next to the flea market in Fort Mill. Just cross the line to SC and the extra few miles really pays off.
