I've been waiting for T-mobile to come to Charlotte for some time now. I heard that they are in the South Park Mall. I wanted the Sidekick but no other cell carrier has it. Please let me know if you've seen it. Thanks

T-mobile only sells pay-as-you go phones in Charlotte, not regular service.

My SIL bought her Sidekick in Atlanta, and uses it here.

They actually do sell regular service, T-mobile has completely taken over SunCom as of last week. I went to South Park Mall a couple of days ago and don't recall seeing T-mobile in there, I know for a fact that there is a T-mobile store in the University area across from Best Buy where the SunCom store use to be next to radio shack, you should be able to find it there or wherever other SunCom stores were located.

I loved T-mobile in NYC and only changed when I moved here. We will wait until our contracts end and switch back. My daughter is literally dying for the sidekick. Below is an address for their new store:

We came to NC with our T-Mobile plans and I'm thrilled they merged with SunCom a few days ago! I wanted to update my plan less than a month ago and couldn't because they did not actually offer service in this area. Looking forward to my T-Mobile@Home. We might actually get local numbers now.

Just saw this and knew I had read someone asking about it recently...

T-Mobile – Hello, Carolinas

A website set up by T-Mobile about their transition around the area. They have some events coming up the next two weekends.

Yes, I found the T-mobile in the South Park Mall. I got the phone I wanted at a great price, they even gave me a car charger for free. I just can't figure out who I want in my favorite five.
