I have a leather briefcase that I broke the strap on and need to find someone that can re attach it. Does anyone know of someone that can help me?

Thanks,

Have you tried a shoe repair place? They'll often fix other items of leather. This may not be too helpful, since I can't recommend an actual place to get it done. Most malls usually have them, though. Good luck!

Any shoe repair place should be able to do it. Also, any tailor/alterations place who advertise that they work on leather should be able to put the stitches in that you need.

Depending on the make of the briefcase the manufacturer may replace or repair at no cost. You might want to seek out a toll free number. LL Bean will replace briefcases for free if they break, and I am pretty sure Levengers does as well.

If your briefcase is by any chance from Hartmann, you can send it back to the factory and they will repair it for you. Otherwise, I have had handles repaired at shoe repair places, too.

My dry cleaner is on Carmel - Faith - and they also do shoe repairs. Don't know if you are in S. CLT . . .

Thanks everyone. I am in Ballantyne, so Carmel seems to be my best option....
